The Brief: To create a dummy book, and illustrations that would create a visual to go alongside a local authors story. We didn't want to end up with illustrations that would simply repeat what the words were already telling us, but images that could also speak for themselves and tell us something else from a slightly different aspect. I have included sketchbook work and colour spreads from the dummy book below. The process included coming up with various story boards, creating characters, illustrating each spread and finally creating a dummy book for Kerry.
